The Phantom of the Opera at Cadillac Palace
The Phantom of the Opera brings its North American tour to Cadillac Palace in Chicago, Illinois, with performances scheduled through. The Chicago engagement is part of the revived production's 2025–2026 tour, following the show's celebrated return to North American stages.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's gothic romantic musical is based on Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel and follows the mysterious Phantom, soprano Christine Daaé, and Raoul beneath the Paris Opera House. The musical opened in London in 1986 and on Broadway in 1988, earning seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Its Broadway production ran for 35 years and 13,981 performances before closing in 2023.
The touring production retains the show's signature spectacle, including the grand staircase, candlelit underground lake, and dramatic Act One chandelier sequence. The score features familiar numbers such as “The Music of the Night,” “Think of Me,” “All I Ask of You,” and the title song. Chicago audiences can also see Isaiah Bailey as the Phantom, Jordan Lee Gilbert as Christine Daaé, and Daniel Lopez as Raoul, according to the supplied tour information.
Chicago is a confirmed stop on the tour, running at Cadillac Palace from December 11, 2025, through. The Chicago Tribune praised Bailey's performance for combining the role's operatic demands with moments of gentleness.
